P(a<X≤b)=F(b)-F(a). P(X=x)=F(x)-F(x-), where F(x-) is the left limit. Strict inequalities require care at points with positive probability. P(X≥a)=1-F(a-), whereas P(X>a)=1-F(a). Boundary conventions are part of a valid CDF, not optional typography.
